Abstract

Irsiyatning molekulyar asoslari – genetik axborotning hujayra darajasida qanday saqlanishi, uzatilishi va ifodalanishini o‘rganadigan biologiya yo‘nalishidir. Hujayralar ichida DNK va RNK orqali irsiy axborot avloddan-avlodga uzatiladi. Genlar va ularning oqsillarga aylanish jarayoni organizmning fenotipik xususiyatlarini belgilaydi. Molekulyar genetik mexanizmlarni tushunish orqali genetik kasalliklarni aniqlash, turlar evolyutsiyasini o‘rganish va biotexnologik tadqiqotlarda yangi usullarni yaratish mumkin.
