Annotation: This research examines the structural, functional, and stylistic differences between compound sentences in Uzbek and English. As members of distinct language families—Uzbek being Turkic and English belonging to the Indo-European group—their sentence construction strategies vary significantly. The study highlights the role of coordinating conjunctions, punctuation, and implicit coordination in both languages, analyzing their impact on language learning, translation, and discourse organization. Through a comparative-analytical approach, the research identifies challenges faced by learners and translators, offering insights into linguistic typology and bilingual education. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of syntactic diversity and practical applications in cross-linguistic communication.
