Abstract

In the process of teaching English, verbal communication alone is not sufficient to ensure effective understanding and engagement. Non-verbal cues, particularly body language and voice modulation, play a vital role in conveying meaning, maintaining students’ attention, and building rapport. This paper explores how a teacher’s gestures, posture, facial expressions, and tone of voice influence the learning process. It also highlights the importance of conscious use of body language and vocal techniques to enhance classroom interaction and student motivation.
