UMAR XAYYOM – O‘RTA ASR MATEMATIKASINING ZABARDAST VAKILI

Abstract

Annotatsiya. Ushbu maqolada o‘rta asrning buyuk allomasi Umar Xayyomning matematikaga qo‘shgan hissasi, ayniqsa algebra va geometriya sohalaridagi yutuqlari yoritilgan. Xayyomning uchinchi darajali tenglamalarni geometrik usulda yechish borasidagi ishlari va sonlar nazariyasi bo‘yicha mulohazalari bugungi zamonaviy matematikaning shakllanishiga zamin yaratgan. Shuningdek, maqolada uning ilmiy merosi va u orqali kelajakdagi Yevropa matematiklarining ilhomlanishi ham muhokama qilingan.

Abstract. This article discusses the contributions of the great medieval scholar Omar Khayyam to mathematics, especially his achievements in the fields of algebra and geometry. Khayyam's work on the geometric solution of cubic equations and his considerations on number theory laid the foundation for the formation of modern mathematics. The article also discusses his scientific legacy and the inspiration he provided to future European mathematicians.
