    Annotation:This article explores the significance of discourse between teachers and students as a central component of effective pedagogy. It examines the linguistic and pragmatic aspects of classroom interaction, considering how discourse shapes learning environments, builds rapport, and facilitates knowledge construction. The article draws upon discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, and educational psychology to provide a comprehensive account of how dialogic communication can foster student engagement, critical thinking, and inclusive learning.
