Abstract

Lexicology, as a field of linguistic study, offers insight into word formation, semantic relations, phraseology, and language change. The article provides an overview of core concepts such as morphemics, semantics, etymology, and neologisms, emphasizing the importance of lexicology in language teaching, communication, and linguistic analysis.
