Abstract

Nephrology nursing is a specialized field that focuses on the care of individuals with kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and acute kidney injury (AKI). Nurses in this specialty play a pivotal role in patient care, education, and advocacy, contributing significantly to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.
