Abstract

This article explores the lingvo-semantic features and typological similarities of political speeches delivered by English and Uzbek political leaders. Using discourse analysis methods, the study compares lexical-semantic units and pragmatic strategies employed in speeches by figures such as Barack Obama and Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The results highlight cultural, ideological, and linguistic patterns influencing political discourse in both contexts.
