This study explores the role of English as a lingua franca in global tourism. English has become the most widely used language for communication between speakers of different native languages in tourism contexts. The research examines how English facilitates communication, enhances cross-cultural interactions, and contributes to the global tourism industry's growth. The study analyzes data from surveys, interviews, and case studies of tourism professionals and travelers to identify key benefits and challenges of using English in international tourism. Findings suggest that English serves as a bridge for communication but also highlights the need for cultural sensitivity in diverse settings.
