Abstract. Proverbs serve as reflections of a nation's cultural and linguistic worldview, encapsulating moral values, emotions, and wisdom passed down through generations. This article explores the linguocultural characteristics of proverbs containing the component 'heart' in English and Uzbek languages. By analyzing their semantic, metaphorical, and cultural aspects, the study reveals how the concept of 'heart' conveys different emotions, attitudes, and beliefs in both linguistic communities. The findings illustrate that while English and Uzbek proverbs share universal meanings, such as love, courage, and sincerity, they also exhibit unique cultural nuances rooted in historical and social experiences.
