Abstract

Abstract: The field of English language learning has significantly changed in the modern world by the interference of innovative tools and methodologies which magnified teaching and learning skills. This article explores the impact of technology on English language acquisition, focusing on digital advancements such as computer-assisted language learning (CALL), mobile-assisted language learning (MALL), and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. By reviewing existing literature, this study highlights the benefits of technology, including increased accessibility, personalized learning, and enhanced learner engagement. Likewise, the paper discusses  obstacles which highlight decreased face-to-face  interaction and inequalities in access to the digital divide. The findings suggest that while technology plays a crucial role in language learning, a balanced approach that integrates digital tools with traditional teaching methods is necessary for optimal language acquisition
