Abstract

In modern tourism, guides play a key role in providing both information and emotionally engaging experiences. This article examines how emotional intelligence contributes to the development of communicative competence in guides, focusing on self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, empathy, and intrinsic motivation. Integrating EI development into guide training programs can improve professional communication, tourist satisfaction, and overall service quality.
