In today ‘s world, the rapid development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence has had a significant impact on the education system. In particular, the distance education system has become one of the main directions of global innovation processes. This article analyzes the transformation process of the distance education system, its formation, technological and pedagogical renewals, as well as digital reforms implemented in Uzbekistan ‘s education sector. The distinctive advantages of distance education, its existing challenges, possible solutions, and future prospects are discussed on a scientific and theoretical basis. The role of artificial intelligence, digital platforms, virtual classrooms, and interactive learning environments in improving the quality of education is examined in detail. As a result, the distance education system is presented as an important mechanism for developing digital culture in society, democratizing the learning process, and enhancing human potential, along with practical recommendations for its further improvement
