DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN MODERN EDUCATION: CHALLENGES, SOLUTIONS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

Today, the process of digital transformation in education stands at the center of global change. Digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and automated learning systems are fundamentally transforming not only teaching methods but also the philosophy of education itself. This article analyzes the process of digital transformation in modern education, its advantages and challenges, as well as the implementation of digital reforms in the education system of Uzbekistan. It explores the introduction of digital technologies in teaching, the expansion of distance learning, electronic platforms, virtual laboratories, interactive tools, and the role of artificial intelligence from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The article highlights the development of digital literacy, the improvement of teachers’ qualifications, the strengthening of students’ digital competencies, and the application of innovative approaches. In the concluding section, the prospects of digital education and recommendations aimed at improving the quality of education are presented
