The use of Artificial Intelligence in teaching writing has become increasingly important in modern language education. AI-based tools support the development of writing skills by providing instant feedback, personalized guidance, and continuous practice opportunities. This article examines the role of AI in teaching writing, focusing on its applications, advantages, and challenges. AI technologies such as automated writing assistants, grammar checkers, and intelligent tutoring systems help learners improve accuracy, coherence, and overall writing quality. At the same time, the study highlights the essential role of teachers in guiding students’ ethical use of AI and fostering creativity and critical thinking. Despite challenges such as over-reliance on technology and data privacy concerns, the effective integration of AI with traditional teaching methods can significantly enhance writing instruction and learner outcomes
