Abstract

Stylistic devices play an essential role in literary texts by enhancing meaning, enriching language, and creating emotional impact. These devices help writers express ideas more effectively and make texts more vivid and memorable. Stylistics, as a branch of linguistics, studies the use of language in literary and non-literary texts. This article examines common stylistic devices such as metaphor, simile, personification, repetition, symbolism, and irony. It also analyzes their functions and significance in literary texts. The research demonstrates that stylistic devices contribute to aesthetic value, emotional expression, and communicative effectiveness. The article concludes that stylistic devices are important tools that help authors convey deeper meanings and create artistic effects in literary works.
