Abstract

This paper explores the theoretical and practical foundations of specialized linguistic methods currently employed in contemporary linguistics. The study examines the efficacy and roles of corpus linguistics, cognitive analysis, discourse analysis, and quantitative methods in investigating linguistic units. Unlike traditional descriptive approaches, this research aims to highlight the potential of specialized methodologies in uncovering the latent structures of language. Particular emphasis is placed on the statistical processing of texts through computational technologies and the modeling of semantic fields. The findings of this study contribute to strengthening the interdisciplinary connections of linguistics and foster the development of applied linguistic disciplines
