This article presents the importance of the discipline "Engineering Communications" for the field of architecture and construction, the purpose of teaching the discipline. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning of the discipline are described. In conclusion, practical recommendations are given to eliminate some of the disadvantages of distance learning of the discipline "Engineering Communications".
