The translation and adaptation of business idioms present significant challenges due to their figurative nature and cultural specificity. Business idioms, commonly used in professional communication, often lack direct equivalents in other languages, requiring careful adaptation to maintain meaning and impact. This article explores various translation strategies, including literal translation, functional equivalence, and localization, to ensure effective cross-cultural communication. It also examines the role of context in determining the most suitable approach for idiom translation. By analyzing real-world examples, this study highlights the importance of
cultural sensitivity in business discourse and provides insights into overcoming linguistic and contextual barriers.
