This article explores the development, subject matter, and methodological foundations of the field of linguopoetics. It analyzes the
interrelation and poetic functions of linguistic levels—phonetic, lexical, morphological, syntactic, and compositional—in constructing a literary text as an aesthetic whole. The study also highlights the historical development of the linguopoetic approach in Uzbek linguistics, examining the legacy of thinkers such as Alisher Navoi and Izzat Sultan as subjects of linguopoetic analysis.
