Ushbu maqolada yoshi katta insonlar sog‘lig‘ini saqlashda ratsional ovqatlanishning o‘rni tahlil qilinadi. Qariyalarning metabolik ehtiyojlari, ovqat hazm qilish tizimidagi o‘zgarishlar, ovqatlanishdagi xatoliklar va ularning sog‘liqqa ta’siri chuqur ko‘rib chiqiladi. Shuningdek, parvarish jarayonida qanday ovqatlanish tamoyillariga amal qilish lozimligi, asosiy oziq-ovqat guruhlari, vitamin va minerallar muhimligi ilmiy asosda yoritiladi.
