EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES AND METHODS FOR TEACHING ENGLISH VOCABULARY TO YOUNG CHILDREN USING THE VOCABULARY HOUSE APPROACH
Abstract
Abstract
Teaching English vocabulary to young children requires engaging, age-
appropriate methods that foster retention and practical use. The "vocabulary house"
approach, a thematic and visual framework, organizes vocabulary into familiar
contexts, such as rooms in a house, to enhance learning. This study explores effective
strategies and methods for implementing the vocabulary house approach, evaluates
their impact on young learners, and discusses their implications for early language
education.
