Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the influence of the hydrocarbon composition of diesel fuel on the efficiency of depressant additives. The effects of the content of n-paraffins, aromatic hydrocarbons, and naphthenic hydrocarbons on the low-temperature properties of diesel fuel were investigated. The research results demonstrated that the hydrocarbon composition of diesel fuel is a significant factor determining the effectiveness of depressant additives under low-temperature conditions.
