Abstract
This article explores the fundamental linguistic components that influence the
process of language learning. Drawing from theoretical linguistics, it outlines the
significance of phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics in acquiring
a new language. The article also highlights how a deeper understanding of these
linguistic areas enhances teaching practices and leads to more effective language
acquisition. A linguistic perspective not only supports language learners but also
informs language educators in developing more nuanced methodologies.
