TEACHING PUNCTUATION MARKS: MASTERING THE ART OF CLEAR COMMUNICATION

Abstract

Abstract: Generally, when we speak, we rise our intonations and make pauses 
to show that our speech has ended. However, in written context we use  punctuation 
marks to show intonations and pauses on the written form. Punctuation marks are the 
silent  guides  that  assist  readers  navigate  the  world  of  written  communication. 
Punctuation marks are the most important tools that sentence structures in good orders. 
Despite being crucial, punctuation marks are misunderstood by students. Teachers are  
 responsible for giving right approach and guide. This article will explore and give 
strategies and tips for teaching punctuation marks to students.
